RESULTS ON STUDENTS AND TEACHERS

The project stimulates multicultural education  and communication between partner schools. Students and teachers will learn about history and art, architecture and cultural policy in different European countries. The project promotes, as well, students’ critical spirit on social matters, alternative methods of learning (games, forum theater etc), while encourages volunteer contribution on specific cultural matters. In addition stimulates the study of languages and the use of modern technologies.
It depends upon the Museums the partners will choose. A State Museum or a private one, a small local Museum or a big famous one, an archeological or an industrial or, maybe, a religious Museum ? A museum situated in a rich area, in an industrial or in a so-called “problematic” one? The partners are free to choose whatever they like. The more different museums we gather, the more interesting aspects of the museum’s role we get.
The partner schools will collaborate during the entire project and will exchange ideas and methods during project meetings working “in situ”. Since they come from all over Europe, students and teachers will bring in their special wealth of traditions, experiences and opinions through an open dialogue.
The students will understand the full potentials of being an European citizen with their values, rights and duties. They will develop their language skills, ICT skills, social and intercultural skills through collaborative work.
The teachers will be able to develop their professional skills  - have better knowledge of foreign languages, acquisition of new ICT tools, innovation in the way of teaching by sharing best practices, learn about different school systems.
The partner schools will collaborate during the entire project and will meet face to face during project meetings, they will approach common problems and by working as a team they will try to raise awareness and identify some solutions. This will lead to the development of key social and linguistic competences as well as enhance cooperation between nations.
